Joe's Story
Joe Johnson is a nationally recognized voiceover talent and for 30-plus years, a major-market radio personality who can be heard on the nationally syndicated radio show, Beatle Brunch, which airs along the Westwood One Radio Network. Joe J has a unique, fun and natural style. He can be “up and crazy”, be “the character voices in your head”, or give you a nice warm, relaxing read. You’ve heard JJ on hundreds of radio and TV ads but probably don’t even know it, from clients like Mardi Gras Casino, McDonalds, Radio Shack, Pet Supermarket, Bacardi and Kelloggs. While we don’t recommend that you put rum on your corn flakes, feel free to add some zest and flavor to your sound with JJ as your new voice talent.
Joe spent 28 years at Miami’s heritage classic hits station, Magic 102.7, where he was Creative Services Director, Host of the Award-Winning Jukebox Saturday Night & Beatle Brunch, The Morning Show Host and then eventually the 10-3 Midday Host, where he had the highest ratings on the station. In 2015 he was named “Best FM Radio Personality” by the Broward and Palm Beach New Times.
Today Joe voices and produces podcasts from his Pro-Tools studio in his home for clients who don’t have the time or tech to do it themselves. JJ provides a fully-produced “radio style interview” for you to share with your fans. Joe is also a regular talent for OMG National, voicing on-hold and video narration for clients. As a “Beatle Expert” and host of Joe Johnson’s Beatle Brunch, JJ has interviewed Sir Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono, Olivia Harrison, Sir George Martin and Giles Martin, Donny Osmond, Carl Perkins, Gary Wright, Micky, Mike and Davy of The Monkees, Brian Wilson and many other pop stars and celebrities like Gene Simmons, Tracy Ullman & Jeff Dunham.

Joe is also a professional MC and Music Host and can be found floating through the history of Rock ‘n Roll on board The Flower Power Cruise, The 70’s Rock and Romance Cruise and Abbey Road on the River, plus many local concerts and festivals. Joe’s a natural and really knows his music, plus, he did stand-up for 10 years at The Comic Strip and even wrote monologue material for Jay Leno .
